Jack Seagull is a small, family-run business based in Lowestoft, UK, shaped by a love of creativity, humour, and seeing the world in a playful way.

The name comes from a very real seagull who sits outside the kitchen window and decided to stay. After being fed (often by hand), Jack became something close to a pet and, before long, the unofficial mascot of the business. He now exists in more than one form — including a large, top-hatted seagull with a monocle and bow tie that sits proudly in the living room window and has become recognisable to people passing by.

Jack Seagull is about creativity, freedom, and enjoying making things without overthinking them. The work is playful, sometimes thoughtful, often humorous, and always rooted in self-expression. It’s made to bring a bit of joy, a smile, or a laugh — not to be taken too seriously.

Living so close to the sea plays a big part in that. The beach, nature, and slower pace of coastal life provide space to explore ideas, notice details, and enjoy creating without rushing. The sea is the background, the subject, and the playground — a constant presence rather than a theme to explain.
