About Us
Jack Seagull Studio is a family-run jewellery studio based in Lowestoft on the Suffolk coast.
The name comes from a very real seagull who visits the kitchen window. After being fed often enough, he decided to stay. Before long, Jack became something close to a pet and eventually the unofficial mascot of the business. Today he exists in more than one form, including a large top-hatted seagull wearing a monocle and bow tie who sits proudly in the living room window and has become recognisable to people passing by.
Everything we create starts with an idea, a material, or an object that catches our attention. Sometimes that means sea glass collected from Lowestoft beach. Sometimes it's driftwood, sea pottery, vintage finds, forgotten objects, original artwork, colourful materials, or something that deserves a second life.
Our jewellery ranges from coastal-inspired pieces made with sea glass and beach finds to wearable artwork, reimagined objects, nostalgic designs, and original character creations. We enjoy mixing traditional materials with unexpected ideas, creating pieces that are colourful, creative, and unlike anything else.
Inspiration comes from everyday life, local beaches, wildlife, vintage treasures, popular culture, humour, and the simple joy of making something original.
At its heart, Jack Seagull Studio is about creativity without boundaries. We make jewellery we enjoy creating and would be proud to wear ourselves; pieces that are handmade, imaginative, and designed to stand out.
